SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The SRD services position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to help the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
